MEET MRS. CAMPBELL
Dear Sierra Vista families,
My name is Kim Campbell and I am extremely excited to be teaching History and Leadership at Sierra Vista K-8. This is my 29th year teaching for the Vacaville Unified School District and every year has been a unique and wonderful experience. I truly enjoy teaching and inspiring all students to develop a love of learning. I am a firm believer that learning never ceases and education does not end in the classroom. I hope to instill a love of learning in my students through creating opportunities for them to find their passion. I truly believe that success is on the other side of our comfort zone, and all students have the potential to succeed through hard work and perseverance.
It was through my experiences at Solano Community College that I found my passion for teaching. After finishing my Associates Degree in Business Administration, I transferred to California State University, Sacramento and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I furthered my education at Chapman University to complete my coursework to earn my California teaching credential.
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved around a lot as a young child. My family ended up moving to Louisville, Kentucky where I spent my childhood. My husband and I relocated to California, where we have raised our two children. When I am not traveling back to Kentucky during the summer, I enjoy traveling around California and spending time with my family and friends.
I am grateful to start another exciting year teaching at Sierra Vista, and I am looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year.
Regards,
Mrs. Campbell
