What is the enrollment capacity at Sierra Vista?

Answer: There are approximately 320 students in Kindergarten - 5th grade. There are approximately 300 students in 6th-8th grade. Maximum total students= 620

Will there be 2 school calendars?

Answer: Yes, there will be an elementary calendar (K-5) and middle school calendar (6 - 8).

How are the middle school classes set up?

Answer: There are 6 periods plus home room. Students take an English, math, science, history, PE and elective class daily.

Will there be music?

Answer: Yes, there are orchestra and band options for 5th grade students which is provided once a week. There are band, orchestra and choir options offered daily during the 6th - 8th grade elective period.

What makes Sierra Vista unique?

Answer: We are the only K-8 school in Vacaville Unified School District. It is a small school. We are the only school to offer AVID to elementary and middle school students.

What is AVID?

Answer: AVID is a school-wide college readiness program provided by certified AVID teachers. For more detailed information, please visit AVID.org.

Will there be sports?

Answer: Yes, we have a cross country, volleyball, flag football, basketball, soccer and track team.

Will there be before and after school care?
