MEET MRS. TAUZER
Dear Sierra Vista Families,
My name is Mrs. Tauzer
This is my thirteenth year working in education and my fourth year teaching fifth grade at Sierra Vista. I am passionate about fostering collaboration, building community, and creating meaningful relationships throughout the school. I believe these values are essential to creating a thriving and supportive learning environment.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Development, with a minor in Counseling, from California State University, Sacramento. I later completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and earned a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning. I firmly believe that healthy relationships and consistent routines both inside and outside the classroom are key to helping students grow and succeed both academically and emotionally.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family and my son, Clayton. I also enjoy attending AKC (American Kennel Club) shows, where I have a passion for showing my dogs. Animals, especially dogs; are a big part of my life, and students will quickly learn how much I enjoy sharing that interest with them!
