Hello Families!
I am excited to be teaching kindergarten this year! It is my first year at Sierra Vista K-8, and I am truly honored to be part of the amazing Grizzly community as an educator. For the past seven years, I have had the joy of being part of this community as a parent, and I am grateful to now step into this role as a teacher.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Sacramento State and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Early Education. Outside of the classroom, I am a proud mom to two wonderful boys, Jackson and Ben. As a family, we love to travel. The beach and Disneyland are our favorites! I also enjoy spending time outdoors camping and walking my dog, Bolt—or more accurately, being walked by him.
My goal as an educator is to create a classroom where students feel safe, confident, happy, and encouraged to grow and share their ideas. As a kindergarten teacher, I understand that I am one of the very first teachers your child will have, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I strive to build a learning environment where students not only enjoy coming to school each day but also develop a lifelong love of learning. I especially enjoy helping students learn how to write, play with sounds and words, and explore early math concepts through fun, hands-on activities.
Building a strong home-school connection is very important to me. I look forward to working together as a team and will keep families informed through regular updates. Please know I always welcome your questions and open communication throughout the year.
I am looking forward to an incredible year of learning and growing together!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ganley
