Hello Sierra Vista Families,
My name is Julie McGee, and I am the seventh-grade life science teacher at Sierra Vista K-8. I have 20 years of teaching experience in grades five through eight and have enjoyed working at several Vacaville schools. I have three children attending VUSD schools at Sierra Vista K-8 and Will C. Wood High School. As a student, I went to the University of California at San Diego. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and decided to work toward a teaching credential. I then attended the University of California at Davis and got my Master of arts degree in education. I love planning the curriculum to make it interesting and engaging for my students. I want to support my students and create a healthy learning environment for our middle school students. I’m looking forward to another amazing school year in 2024-2025.
