Assistant Principal's Page

Meet Mrs. Moore

Sierra Vista Families,

My name is Diana Moore, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal here at Sierra Vista K-8. I am enthusiastic about continuing in this position within our remarkable educational community. I am excited to work alongside you and your students on this incredible journey of learning and growth.

With over a decade of experience in various teaching roles, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that a strong partnership between educators and families can have on a student’s success. I firmly believe that collaboration and open communication are essential to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Grand Canyon University and advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts in Innovative Teaching and Learning and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, both from Touro University in California. These experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in educational theory and best practices and a deep understanding of effective pedagogical strategies that promote student success.

As your Assistant Principal, I aim to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging experience for all students. I am committed to fostering a positive school climate that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and encourages a love for learning. I will work diligently to maintain the high standards that our school is known for while also seeking new opportunities for growth and innovation.

In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to working with each of our new and returning Grizzly scholars. If you are a little curious about me, when I am not at school, I enjoy singing in choirs, reading a good book, and traveling with my husband and two amazing kids. We may attend Giants games, play at the park, or spoil our furriest family members, Gambit and Olaf.

I am genuinely honored to continue being a part of this incredible community, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunities and accomplishments that lie ahead. Together, we will continue to make Sierra Vista K-8 a place where students thrive, dreams are nurtured, and success is achieved.

Looking forward to the 2024 - 2025 school year – Go Grizzlies!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Moore
