Sierra Vista K-8 PTC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created for the purpose of benefiting Sierra Vista K-8 School and the surrounding community. The PTC board and committees are comprised of school family and faculty members who volunteer countless hours to serve the Grizzly community.
- Vision - To be a valuable resource for the school community.
- Mission - To enhance the educational experience of all students through academic and social programs; supplemental financing of resources and opportunities; and active collaboration between families, faculty, and friends of SVK8.
- Values - Uphold and promote the values of the school, including PAWS, and to: (1) serve as a liaison between families and school; (2) use PTC funds wisely and ethically; (3) be transparent in its operations and finances; and (4) fulfill its role to the best of its ability.
PTC relies entirely on volunteers, Grizzly+ memberships, donations, and fundraising to successfully endow, enhance, and engage!
How Can You Help & Why?
- Become a Member - financial contributions are essential to turn ideas into reality. Paid members have voting rights. Download a membership form and drop off at the office.
- Get Involved - join a committee, offer ideas, volunteer at events, share a talent, etc. Be as involved as you want to be!
