Ms. Verceles

Hello Sierra Vista friends and families,

My name is Hillary Verceles and I am overjoyed to be teaching here at Sierra Vista K-8. I am excited to be a part of this family, but also extremely thrilled to be the 8th grade math teacher here for the sixth year.

I was born in San Jose California, but moved all around the Sacramento area for my whole life. I have finally settled down with my Fiance Bryce and our daughters Solara, Leona, and Octavia in the beloved town of Winters.

I attended Sacramento State University where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics before getting my teaching credential. My passion for teaching comes from my desire to inspire my students to have fun in every aspect of their life. My personal philosophy in life is to always have fun, no matter what you are doing because if you are not having fun, then you are wasting your time.

In my free time I enjoy spending my time at Lake Berryessa, camping pretty much anywhere, and spending time with my family. Some may say that my family and I are a little nuts, since we live on a nut farm (literally, 20 acres of walnuts). We enjoy the scenery, the walnuts, and the closeness of our family on our farm.

I am looking forward to making some great memories this year!!!

Best wishes,

Ms. V
