MEET MRS. CLARK
Dear Sierra Vista Families,
I will be starting my 33rd year of teaching for VUSD in the 2022-23 school year. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade for all but one year, when I taught kindergarten. I look forward to continuing in the upper grades as a 5th grade teacher and a Sierra Vista Grizzly.
As a child of a military family, I lived in several places such as France, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Canada, before my family finally settled in Vacaville. I attended Vacaville schools from 4th grade through high school. I received my bachelor's degree from California State University, Chico and my teaching credential from National University.
My love for teaching comes from my love for learning. I always enjoyed school and the challenges that came with new experiences. In the classroom, I want my students to have these same experiences as they discover their love of learning through persistence and hard work.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband, three grown children, and my granddaughter.
